Despite the unbelievably terrible June we had, we were able to make it to the beach a handful of times. Samara enjoys lowtide and is obviously a hearty soul braving the ice cold waves. We bought bikes and a sun tent (mother's/father's day gifts to ourselves...so kind!) so we bike to the beach often and can now stay there even for naptime... maybe that will happen when the sun stays out for more than ten minutes. We're planning some sunnier adventures this 4th of July weekend, and Steve is off tomorrow so we're very excited :)
