Can you tell we are quite happy to be outdoors again?! The double stroller was back on Ocean Ave today and it felt like the world was ours. Oh, it is a great feeling to be enjoying the warmer sun, the longer days and the sandy beaches when it is only March 8th. Months and months of increasingly more beautiful days are ahead. I do love New England!
Oh, and did I tell you Samara is working a tricycle! It is more exciting and monumental than I could have imagined. Oh, the places she'll go! As she peddled down the still snow-sided driveway towards our white picket fence, as the sweet American lady that she is, she looked back and squealed with delight at this new found freedom and I could just hear "Wide Open Spaces" playing on my old yellow Casio walkman. And while I wanted to cry for my big girl, I was just too darn happy to be sad.
