Staycation

Turns out I love Steve's job! He's hosting a conference in Boston and we got to spend one night with him at the Marriott Long Wharf, a gorgeous waterfront hotel in the city. The four of us shared a very comfy, maybe not quite King-enough King size bed and enjoyed good food in the North End, late night swims, and tons of fun walks and treats around the city. The best part about not working this year, other than being with my two babes, is that we might actually get to enjoy these perks together here and there. Steve says he may have to travel to California, New Orleans, and beyond! Too bad this year is also the year we are most broke! What's more, I had the pleasure of meeting many of his colleagues, from Somerville, and the country, and it made me so very proud to hear them just ADORE him. I don't give him enough credit for all he does. I know how lucky they are, but it's good for me to hear other people appreciate him as he deserves.
